Commissioner Amy Broyles was nominated and received two votes for Vice Chair. However, she still faces a second civil penalty of $10,000 the first one was dismissed because she appeared and gave a medical excuse for not timely filing her financial disclosure.
Last August, she was hit with a second $10,000 civil penalty because she again lacked to timely file her disclosure. Sources indicate that Knoxville lawyer John King is representing her before the Registry of Election Finance.
Come on Ámy, simply follow the rules and there’s no threat of losing $10,000.
