Tomorrow night the Knox County School Board meets in work session. Patty Bounds is expected to attend. However, Second District Interim John Fugate announced at the meeting in September that he will not attend the work session. Of course no votes are taken at work sessions. So, Wednesday is when they will try and select a new Chair and a Vice Chair.
Several folks have tried to get me to opine on the issue. It’s a board decision, the job isn’t what everyone is making it out to be. My opinion is that Dr. McIntyre will not just run away from Knox County Schools just because McMillan is Chair. That is what Frank Cagle suggested on WATE’s Tennessee This Week a week or two ago.
So everyone take a deep breath, the decision should be made Wednesday unless this drama sitcom has another turn until after November 4.
