so the Democrats recruited female Democrat candidates to challenge Rep. Jason Zachary, Rep. Michele Carringer, Rep. Justin Lafferty, I guess they could not find one in District 19 to challenge Rep. David Wright. Except where the Democrats think they can manipulate data, spin political rhetoric against Rep. Elaine Davis. They found a dude named Bryan Goldberg .
Now the Republicans have fielded Justin Hirst to challenge Rep. Sam McKenzie in District 15, In regard to District 90, Republicans didn’t field a candidate against longtime Retired Teacher Rep. Gloria Johnson, Republicans will be all in 90 in 2026.
The liberal media which includes the daily paper, TV stations, radio stations and many other progressive online entities have been doing the dirty work on beating up on Rep. Elaine Davis. Because (in the South) if Goldberg or his team were doing it, it would not be a good look for him.
So, Allie and Tyler of the daily paper. WBIR did the dirty work as well, two Sunday’s in a row on the Inside Tennessee program. Now a local blog, (NOT this one) which was a paper. The “Shopper” paper was bought by the daily paper and for years the Shopper simply held the sales fliers of the daily paper on Wednesdays. The former owner of the Shopper and former pay check recipient of the daily paper, recently wrote a blog piece entitled who is hiding now, referring to Rep. Davis. The former owner of the Shopper, former paycheck recipient of the daily paper and founder of a weblog normally in the past has supported female candidates, except Jamie Hagood and now Rep. Davis to my memory.
Now, my opinion, Rep. Davis is not hiding, in fact she has appeared and talked at several meetings, including the September 26 meeting of the Center City Conservative Republican Club. Rep. Davis been making alot of public appearances neighborhood groups, civic and community groups in addition to knocking on constituents doors. Rep. Davis is NOT hiding. Maybe the Dems and Goldberg just do not frequent themselves in TN House District 18.
If Davis were to take time from campaigning to appear with her opponent, it is simply giving her opponent credibility and feeds the twisted political propaganda his media friends fed to their limited audience. Just like the signs the Dems they have posted about Rep. Davis trying to end Early Voting. She was a sponsor for nine days. Had Rep. Davis NOT withdrawn the bill from the House, it would have been considered. My guess is she sponsored it for nine days, in order to kill it. The Dems and their signs do not give you the Rest of the Story as Paul Harvey once concluded his daily radio bit, back in the day. It is the Dems twisted political propaganda that the daily paper, tv stations, radio stations and internet sites will not report, I suspect because the Democrats and Goldberg campaign are paying advertising dollars. This site, ME, I am providing Rep. Davis an ad in-kind to her campaign. So, this site is different, not like the others.
My friends in TN House District 18 Vote as if your Vote Matters because it does! Either you will have a vote in the State House that matters or you will have a guy named Goldberg that wil never pass one piece if legislation in two years just like Rep. Johnson of District 90.
