as a young child, student I listened to a lot of older citizens, I had three grandparents most of my life and being in East Knox County I was blessed with many individuals with experiences that I could learn from.
One such advice, I heard was to always keep in mind that when one points a finger at least three more are pointing back. Even as a blogger, I know that and in particular to the people that point fingers at me. BUT that is not the point today.
What caused me to remember this advice?
Tonight, at the Knox County School Board meeting, Kat Bike of the Fourth District was clearly frustrated with a continuing 5-4 votes, Kat is part of the 4. She correctly pointed out that board members are compensated nicely to be a School Board member. Her comments were they should be willing to stay and meet.
After the meeting I am told that Kat missed the second day of the two day Annual Retreat recently. Maybe Kat should have considered that before standing up on the soap box for a lecture to the fellow colleagues of Kat.
