The Mega Bullhorn of Truth Won every race in the November 5 General Election. Two races were in kind ads.
First, State Rep. Elaine Davis of TN House District 18. The daily paper, former Mayor turned weekly columnist was against her, BUT not the Mega Bullhorn of Truth. Speaker Sexton and Republican Leader William Lamberth wanted Rep. Davis back so that along with why would I want District 18 to have a vote in Nashville that could not even be effective to get a bathroom pass. Congrats Elaine, carry on with Speaker Sexton and Leader Lamberth.
VOTE NO on 2, I gave another in-kind ad, Knoxville City Council will be represented as the Tennessee legislature and NOW the citizens of Knoxville want to be represented.
MARSHA, MARSHA, MARSHA WON! Senator Marsha Blackburn was on my site six years ago, she was back and we expanded her lead and she will remain on the site over on the side of the site for the foreseeable future.
TN Speaker Cameron Sexton a longtime regular on this site for years. He was re-elected in Cumberland County to continue serving in the State House.
Lenoir City Mayor Tony Aikens was re-elected. Lenoir City continues to thrive, Thanks to Aikens and Council.
Former Clinton, TN Police Chief Rick Scarbrough is now State Rep. Rick Scarbrough. a friend for life we are now. He will serve District 33 very well.
Rep. Michele Carringer was re-elected. Our families go waaay back. Michele’s Mom Irene McCrary was the First Vice Chair of the Knox GOP when I was Chairman, 2005-2007. Rep. Carringer may be short, but she ain’t backing down from NO ONE.
MY State Senator Becky Duncan Massey. i love the Duncan family. She ain’t like her brother and her brother ain’t like her. BUT, she is a straight talker and does what she tells you she will do. That is rare in politics.
Rep. Justin Lafferty, won re-election. He and I might not agree on everything. But we can discuss it without being disagreeable. He serves well.
That is the Winning Wrap. It is all we do and did….. it was to WIN!
