Friday morning December 6, 2024 Blount County Sheriff Jim Berrong held his annual Christmas breakfast (catered by Cracker Barrell) at First Baptist Maryville. Many citizens, government employees and politicians from around Tennessee attended. TN Speaker of the House Cameron Sexton, former Congressman John J Duncan, Jr., Emily representing US Senator Bill Hagerty, Knox County Trustee Justin Biggs, Knox County at Large Commissioner Larsen Jay Knoxville Police Chief Paul Noel and others.
Yesterday Monday December 9, Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs Christmas Breakfast (catered by Waffle House) was held in the Small Assembly Room of the City County Building. I got my breakfast and went to my day job desk.
