NOTE: for those that believe I should not blog about Democrat politics, my thousands of readers are Republican, thousands are Democrats and in currently in Tennessee there are many that are Independent. For that reason, this blog writes about all sides. So, if you do not like written words about Democrats, Please move on and pass on by this post.
The Tennessee Democrat Party State Executive Committee is set in January to name a new State Chair. Can they do any worse? YES! They can IF they give the job to Gloria Johnson.
Now as a Conservative blogger, podcaster, YUGE fan, supporter of United States Senator Marsha Blackburn. You will think that I am mad about her challenging Blackburn, NOT true! But y’all are gonna say and think what you say and think.
Team Blackburn over more than one year of campaigning, was able to train the next generation of Conservative leaders with the massively YUGE win over her socialist opponent.
This will be a multi post series on Johnson.
Today let us just look at the failed U.S. Senate campaigning, as a State Representative she was so confident in her ability to lose the US Senate that she ran for re-election to the Tennessee State House District 90 at the same time.
Presumably, forcing out Knoxville City Councillady Seema Sigh. Singh had announced, but withdrew to allow Johnson to go unchallenged in the Primary. The legislature attempted to stop Johnson, a two time double dipper socialist with legislation, but the legislation couldn’t pass it in time.
First, multiple sources told me during the Democrat primary that the eventual challenger to Senator Blackburn was saying that former Democrat Governor Philip Bredesen did not know how to win, six years earlier in challenging Marsha and that Johnson’s campaign would be successful. Obviously, it was not because of the work of Blackburn and her team.
Let us focus on the Democrat vote, on November 5, 2024 Johnson got 1,027, 461 votes, Kamala got 1,056, 256 votes. 28,795 Democrats REJECTED Johnson, Of course Senator Blackburn received 1,918, 743 Tennessee votes.
Four years before on November 3, 2020 Democrat challenger Marquita Bradshaw got 1,040,691 to Republican Conservative United States Senator Bill Hagerty‘s 1,840,926 votes. Bradshaw did 13,230 votes better statewide than Johnson. In four years think of all the newer Tennessee Democrat Voters that REJECTED Johnson.
More to come on Johnson!
